Hole 2 is a straightaway, uphill par 4 with no bunkers to avoid off the tee. However the fairway narrows down at the 150-yard marker and stays narrow to about 125 yards out from the green. Strategically, off the tee, the best idea is to lay-up to the 150-yard marker or hit the ball far enough to get to the 100-yard marker where the fairway is at its widest. After a good drive this is an easy approach with no hazards to carry.
